Sunday started with a great breakfast, some of the best coffee ever tasted, and fresh fruit. We attended church services in Port-au-Prince and were very moved by the passion the congregation has for Christ.
After lunch we got on the road to the Methodist guest house (Pastor Admirable’s manse) in Petit Goave, which was a 2 hour drive. We saw a lot of towns along the way. It amazes me to see how resilient the people are under such circumstances. We are traveling with some translators that are awesome – we couldn’t do this with out them.
Tomorrow we head out to our first day of training with the CHE (Community Health volunteers) group in the nearby village of Tapion. We are excited to be here and be disciples of God, sharing and growing together. Blessings to you – please pray for us this week!
