Our day started with a group breakfast at 6:30am.   We headed to Ciudad Espana arriving around 8:30am and were greeted with a warm and loving welcome before being encouraged to join the classes in “game day” playing games like hot potato.  Some great memories

were made!  After games, the team split into three groups and taught students in grades 7-12 English.  We taught 2 classes before having lunch, and then another after we ate.  The inter

action was great and we all felt blessed for the opportunity to spend some time with these special kids and youth.  It reminded us all of why we are here and we are all grateful that we can help in this small way.

After we completed teaching, we changed clothes and headed back outside to help move dirt for two new school rooms and a bathroom that will be built.  One of those rooms is the Science lab that Vacation Bible Camp helped raise funds for this past week.

The team had a nice dinner and fellowship at the Mission House.  We were able to spend some time with another team from Illinois.  We held a devotion at the hotel and discussed how everyone felt about the day.  We really enjoyed our time in Ciudad Espana and we are ready for another great one tomorrow!
