The day started out on a rough note with a few team members not feeling well.  Two members of our team departed for the Methodist Mission House in order to rest in hopes that they will recover quickly to join our team tomorrow.  The staff at the Mission House took good care of them while the rest of us headed to Ciudad Espana.  Brooke, our resident nurse, checked everyone out, diagnosed issues,  (some of which were dehydration), and encouraged the team.  Once everyone was situated, we headed a little late to Ciudad Espana to watch the cultural performances.

Bright colors and vibrant excitement filled the room as kids of all ages danced to show their heritage.  Our team sang  the National Anthem in order to represent our country.  After the cultural celebration, we headed to our last day of teaching English – with the classes continuing to get better and better every day.  Today we taught about likes and dislikes as well as personal descriptions.  The students picked up on this quickly.

When we headed to the Mission House for dinner, we were treated to ribs and rice.

The evening ended with a devotion led by Erika and a heartfelt conversation on sponsoring students.
