This morning we went to church and were met with many familiar faces that we saw this week. We all got the chance to see their church service and Sunday School classes. After the church service Cheryl had the opportunity to present outstanding academic awards to some of the sponsored students.
Then we had fellowship with the church members over a delicious meal that was prepared for us. We then got to help the sponsor students write letters to their sponsors. Throughout the day we were showered with love in many ways including hugs and multiple thank yous. Even though we received so much gratitude, many of our team members feel as though we have received more from them than we could have ever given. It is very difficult to describe the magnitude of love we have felt these past 8 days. We have missed our families but a part of our hearts will always be in Honduras.
