The first leg of the trip is done. Everyone was excited to start our serve trip this morning, and we all arrived safely in New York this afternoon. Tonight we all took a short walk together to a local eatery and enjoyed a nice dinner among new friends. Tomorrow’s first flight out will be in the late morning with a change of planes before we land in Malawi. Each of us is excited in their own way for what this trip means to us and for those we are about to meet.
