We have four separate teams headed to Honduras next month!  Here’s a brief description on who, what, where, when, why!

July 12th a team of 8 from Rez West will be headed to Ciudad Espana to offer “Live Well” training to local volunteers so that they can help their community work through and overcome depression.  This team will also participate in a mutual cultural experience (sharing each others culture with presentations) and a sewing workshop for women from the 19 different Methodist Churches in Honduras.

July 19th a team of 11 from Rez Downtown will be headed to El Obraje to help construct an IT cafe in the Methodist Church (as a community outreach and educational opportunity) as well as partner with the local lay leaders offering sports camps and puppet workshop.  These lay leaders will then offer these camps to the community.

July 26th, a Rez Life team will be headed to El Obraje to support the church in a Vacation Bible Camp, and continue construction on the IT cafe.  Super excited to get young leaders headed to Honduras!

August 1st, a team of 11 will be headed to Copan to visit the Mayan Ruins on the way to Ciudad Espana.  This team will help finish the construction on the 3 classrooms that are desperately needed for the school.  They will also be part of the consecration and blessing of these classrooms.
