Reflexiones de Santiago: Blog Four: Created in Christ Jesus to do good Works
Our clinic is fully operational. Our dedicated volunteers are seeing patients as fast as they can. There were long lines when we arrived and long lines persisted well into the afternoon. Our day consisted of a menagerie of diagnoses, prescriptions, dental procedures, and fluoridations. There were a lot of patients. It was hard work… and it was quite hot.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:10; “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works”. I guess Paul never DID say we would be comfortable doing that work. But, the joy in the faces of our patients created a bountiful joy in our hearts. We are amazed at their happiness with so few possessions. What a great example for living. It is pretty apparent there are two missions going on in Honduras. The mission creating changes in the lives of our new friends in Honduras and the changes in lives of our volunteers as we share this short week together.
