Sunday morning church to start the day! After church, we then went to the Rhino & African Animal Park which is a drive-through park with many of the animals indigenous to Africa as well as some from Southeast Asia. It was a fun day with lots of pictures, laughs and fun. We were able to see small herds of animals as well as watch lions during feeding time. Additionally, they have a large area to walk around were they also have some infant white lions, black jaguars, cheetahs and many more. We were able to pet and play with some infant animals.
Both Gavin and Jenny, his wife, joined us for dinner. We had a wonderful discussion following the meal as many of us were actually unsure as to what “apartheid” was or meant to the South African people.
