We are now headed to the Chakhaza Clinic which is a government clinic.  Based on numbers from last year it looks like we are seeing fewer patients this year.

We were told by a clinician that they may not be going to a doctor because they do not have the medicines that they need.  What would you do if you had a sick child who needed a specific medicine and you could not obtain it?  The reality is most in Malawi just do without.

The is our last day, we will tour the clinic and then serve patients.  We had a great day!  Our final number of patients seen will be around 700, with about 2000 RX written.

Tomorrow we will meet with the local Chief and afterwards visit the demonstration farm.  We enjoyed our visit with Pastor Francis and it will be sad to say goodbye to our friends.
