Wednesday and Thursday have been great days of service for the rezlife Honduras team.

The English teaching team continued at the school each morning, while the construction team completed painting the interior and exterior walls of the computer room at the church in El Obraje and working on completing digging the trench for the exterior wall.

On Wednesday the vacation bible school in the afternoon at the church for younger kids had the biggest numbers yet, likely around 150 kids came for VBC then split into groups for games or learning basketball skills. On Thursday the volleyball group at a nearby field for middle school aged students had around 60 students which broke up into 8 teams all getting their first chance to play “real” volleyball games and put their new skills to work!

Wednesday afternoon the entire team took a walk to the downtown park in Danli and got to peek inside the Catholic Church right before the church services began. Thursday evening the team plans to have an early dinner then go worship at a contemporary service at a Methodist church in Danli.

The group is having an amazing time, very good health, and all the students and leaders truly have made new friends amongst the children and students in El Obraje. It will be hard to say goodbye on Friday.

Please continue to pray for our final day of service on Friday as well as our travel back to Tegucigalpa on Saturday.

God is good!
