Mercy Chikhosi Nyirongo is the project manager at ZOE, she has her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Africa University, and her Master’s degree from Walden University. Recently, she founded the organization Wandikweza that trains community health workers to assist government health workers. “Our mission is to support best practices in public health and community development, transforming communities from within-one village at a time,” Nyirongo said. Wandikeza seeks to empower villages with the health they need to strive forward.
