It’s been a busy few days for us in Haiti and we finally have a chance to catch up on the blog.  After great flights on Saturday we arrived in Port-Au-Prince and spent the night at the Methodist Guest House.

On Sunday we drove to Petit Goave to attend church.  We were blessed to share communion with our Haitianimg_6385 img_6388 brothers and sisters.  After lunch we set up the clinic with supplies and medicine.

Monday, our first day of clinic, was surprisingly slow, as children are returning to school.  Today we traveled to Barrette, a Community Health  Evangelism (CHE) community.  We conducted the clinic in an outdoor shelter that also serves as a church and school.  Our team of three doctors, two nurses, a pharmacist and three “generalists,” along with five Haitian translators saw over 100 patients.

We are receiving great hospitality by our host, Pastor Admirable, his wife, energetic five-year old daughter, and 13-month old son.  There have been thunderstorms every evening which we’ve really enjoyed.
