Our trip has come to an end. We are sad to be leaving our new (and some old) friends in Haiti. On our last day we had some time to explore and went to Papillion Enterprise which is an amazing place started by a women who came to Haiti to adopt a child. We also went to the Hotel Montana and enjoyed the view and a cold Citron which means lime. Cold and refreshing.
We said goodbye to Solencia this morning who was one of the CHE trainers. She was sad to leave us and we were sad to see her go!
I think I speak for the whole team to say Jill, Brian, Dr Julie, Liz (amazing interpreter) were all fabulous. They were always there to answer our questions and lead the team. Jill especially as team leader….she has a gift. I think she is part Haitian.
