Our fourth and final work day started out with group pictures which led into one of our group members pulling out a polaroid camera. The (Haitian) adults loved it and had so much fun shaking the pictures and watching them develop. The ladies headed out front and went to work painting nails for what seemed to be every little girl in Bonbon. Each and every one was overflowing with joy, happiness, and love. The boys got back to work moving cement blocks, carrying buckets, and moving rocks.

Before lunch we headed to see the local Heart-to-Heart Cholera clinic that is set up in town, it was very cool to see the system they have set-up to treat their local patients and the effort they are making to treat and prevent cholera and other diseases. We were treated to another great lunch at the worksite with lobster, more pikliz, pasta salad, eggs, and fresh papaya juice. After lunch, we went on a little visit to the beach and it was absolutely beautiful – Haiti is so incredibly beautiful! The afternoon finished up with goodbyes, prayers, and well wishes with the Haitians we had come to know and love during our time here in Haiti. Tomorrow as we head back to Petionville, we leave with cherished memories and incredible, life-changing experiences.
