This, our final day at the schools, was all about the teachers. All the teachers and caregiving staff from both Elim and Ditshego were present as we provided support through testimonies, skits, and training, then served them lunch. As we left in the afternoon, we exchanged gifts, hugs, and goodbyes. Lawrence and Queenie, who had provided us with transport, tours, and patience all week, handed us off to Gavin who, with his wife, Jenny, would provide our transport for the rest of our trip. Gavin drove us to our next accommodation near Johannesburg.
