Our last day to hike up the mountain to the village of Bourdeau. It rained the night before, so the trail was muddy and slippery. But we took our time and enjoyed the amazing views. 
We had a church service with the locals and it was amazing. Pastor Lorri and Pastor Darryl and Pastor Richman all spoke a few words. The Bourdeau women sang for us and we came together to sing Amazing Grace in our languages. It was breathtaking! 
Cam was awesome putting together spontaneous games on the spot! The kids loved this! 
Bethany and Maddie were a huge hit with the kids – they loved their long American hair!
The work crew and locals sent us off one last time before we headed back down. Many of them walked us all the way down to be sure we were safe.
Rudy was an awesome leader; he, Rudy Sr. and Ryan were a fantastic trio. They set the precedence for hard work, a lot of love and laughter.
There were a lot of emotions today; it was difficult saying goodbye to the amazing friends we had made while working and playing side by side.
