Today was another day in Haitian paradise! On our way up the mountain to the church in Ravine Seche, we passed through the Wednesday market happening on both sides of a very narrow road. We were fascinated by all of the people, animals, and different things the vendors were selling. There was even a section of the side of the road designated for “donkey parking.” Once at the worksite, we put finishing touches on the new church building, all the way down to scrubbing and shining the floors!
Once we got home, the highlight of our evening was spending some time with Pastor Admirable, where we learned about his world as a Methodist pastor in Petit-Goave and superintendent who oversees 40 churches. It’s exciting to have this partnership with him. We can’t wait to see how beautiful the church looks for all the people attending tomorrow’s dedication.
