Norm, Krista, and Rachel joined us at EHUMC prior to the team starting the day’s mission activities. Kim and Tara had gone shopping the night before and we enjoyed a continental breakfast at the activity center & church kitchen. Tara led the group in the devotional reading to prepare our hearts and minds for our day of service. Norman led us in prayer and we headed out.
Greeting our group just outside the door, we were surprised to see a rafter of turkeys (adults and young) gracing the green lawns and gardens of the church grounds. We took this as a great sign for the day, and we headed to our first destination – Together (literally that’s the name!).
