2018 July Costa Rica team, Day 6

It was an action packed day today that concluded with the South Carolina and Indiana teams returning to the mission center from their work sites several hours away. We had a chance to talk about our experiences this week serving at the mission center open air fire pit gathering and worship space.

Here is the official entry from Phoenix, age 13, our team blogger:

Today started just like any other with a delicious meal from the staff at the mission center before we got to work. Both the cement team and the wood team finished their projects today. An amazing amount of progress was made for just a few days and we couldn’t have done it without everyone who contributed. In the afternoon, we led our final VBC. We’re going to miss all the kids who have been so cute and patient with the language barrier. Two teams returned to the mission center today and we all were honored to share communion and maybe some s’mores around the fire. All the teams are leaving the mission center tomorrow.
