We started out with an hour drive up to Las Minas where we set up clinic in a school. The school consisted of 3 small rooms on top of a mountain. A lot of the people from the village where already there when we got there. We gave all of the children fluoride treatments, we pulled teeth, and saw everyone in the clinic!  As our last day of clinic came to a close I reflected on the service trip all together. Service trips often serve as a way for us to intensely live out our faith. We focus almost all attention on God’s will and very little on our own will and are often more aware of God‘s presence and direction in our lives on trips like this. We will treasure our new found friendships as we get ready to head back home.
