Hello from the Costa Rica team!
Our first morning in San Isidro started with a sunrise at 5:50 in the morning. Our team enjoyed a light breakfast together before heading to town for church. We spent almost three hours worshipping with our new friends in the community. We sang songs of praise in Spanish and English. With this we were able to have our first Church experience by worshipping, praying, and witnessing the love God has for us all.
As a team we were grateful to have a lunch at the church and spend more time getting to know the local people. We had some down time this afternoon to reflect and anticipate the upcoming week. During the evening our team walked through the town, enjoyed pizza, and a sweet treat!
We are all looking forward to starting work with the community tomorrow!
