The clinic on Wednesday was great! The team saw about 135 patients and everything is running smoothly. We are having a good time with our Malawi friends and learning so much. The patients we saw have a variety of ailments including infections, skin conditions, parasites and malaria.
Thursday we will spend the day at Dzaleka refugee camp. Malawi is on a migration route for those feeling civil war, genocide and violence in Burundi, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The camp was built to house about 9,000 people. It now holds a population of almost 40,000. We don’t know what to expect but are excited and ready to serve! Prayers are welcome!
