Buenos Dias!
All but 1 team member flew out together, the one lone ranger (Chris) went out of Austin, all managed to meet up in San Juan, tired but excited about the upcoming week. After their introductions and being greeted by Carlos their driver, they piled in the van and headed to the campsite. On the way to Arecibo they passed beautiful scenery – gorgeous trees with orange and yellow flowers. After settling in, their hosts prepared a DELICIOUS meal which included, arroz con pollo and habichuelas con papa (chicken with rice and sauteed beans with potatoes).
After dinner, they all relaxed in their new surroundings. As they unpacked they thought about their day tomorrow which would include worship and greetings from the congregation.
