We had another morning of manual labor clearing ground and digging a retaining wall foundation trench for the Mission House parking lot expansion. We were blessed by cool temperatures (but not 26 degrees) and a slight breeze as we loaded by hand three dump trucks of excavated materials.

Our Honduran brothers were by our side throughout the morning and many great bonds were formed. After lunch, these men began their four hour journey back to San Pedro Sula.

We took the afternoon off to visit the Christ Statue overlooking the city of Tegucigalpa. The hours of rest will prove beneficial as we begin two days of concrete work.
