Good morning America. Today we started with construction at two sites. One group mixed and poured concrete walls and the other did concrete flooring. The second half of the day was split into three parts. Pastor Patrick lead a discussion with members of our team and members of the community through a training about small groups and the importance of having them in the church. This training will continue through the next few days.
Another group continued to work on the computers at the school and those will hopefully be finished soon. The third group continued construction and when they finished they played with the kids on the basketball court. When all groups finished they joined and played games on the basketball court too!
After returning home, some members of our group could see a Zumba class goingon from our hotel. While dancing along from across the street, the Zumba teacher invited them over to participate in the class. This is a true testament to the welcoming our team has received here in Honduras, and needless to say we will be back for more Zumba tomorrow.
We finished the day with wonderful Honduran tacos and a very fun, interactive devotional. We are excited for what tomorrow will bring.
